Do you know the difference between a wet shave and a dry shave? The main difference is that one uses something wet such as water, shaving cream or lotion and the other one doesn’t just anything but the razor. The reason why you need to understand the differences is because one of these is good for you and the other one isn’t. The one shave that I do not recommend is a dry shave and the reason is because it never comes out good for the person being shaved.

Being that you need the right tools to do a wet shave I have decided to show you what wet shaving supplies you need. Since wet shaving is more than just using water you need to have everything with you or else your shaving experience might not go as good as you would have hoped for.

Wet Shaving Supplies You Need

Sharp Razor – Having a sharp razor is very important. If you don’t have a sharp razor then you will find it rather difficult to get all the hair off of your face. What most people don’t understand is that you can’t use a razor for very long because at some point that particular razor will become rather dull. Trust me on this one, I would not recommend using a razor for more than 3 weeks.

Good Shaving Cream – Are you using the best shaving cream possible? Most people choose to use the cheapest shaving cream they can find or they pick what they see on T.V. all the time. What you need to understand is that sometimes the best thing to do is use shaving cream that keeps your skin feeling smooth and doesn’t bother it. I know this might seem like pointless advice but it is actually pretty sound advice once you think about it.

Lather Brush – Most people don’t have a lather brush simply because they think they don’t need one. I know that this seems likes a useless item but the truth is that you need them. The reason why I highly recommend using a lather brush is because they make sure that the shaving cream is applied to your face the right way. Just make sure that you are not brushing your face, you need to be dabbing the shaving cream.

When it comes to shaving you need to make sure that you experiment a little bit so that your skin comes out looking great time and time again. If there is one thing that I know it is that a wet shave is always going to be better than anything else you will do and that is why I highly recommend doing it. Like I always say, if you are not getting a good enough shave then make sure you are using shaving cream warmers because the always do their job.
